Large Central Anatolian Konya kilim 295x145cm #1722

A 19th century central Anatolian kilim from Konya or possibly Isparta with a very unusual border reminiscent of a winged eagle design. Mixed ivory and brown sheep wool warps with all natural dyes. In excellent condition with limited small professional repairs with antique wool to corroded weft and some worn/corroded cicim motifs. Circa 3rd-4th quarter 19th century.
