Uzbek Ghudgeri tent band style kilim No 4787

Superb antique Central Asian Uzbek Ghudgeri kilim or jajim with 12 different decorated bands woven in the floating weft technique as used for weaving nomadic yurt tent bands. All natual dyes, a tightly woven, strong kilim with well made small nomadic repairs using patches from old tent bands. Older than most available examples, late 19th century and in good condition.
